Welcome to Oakham-Motocross.co.uk. Oakham Motocross Club provides an opportunity for Moto cross riders from the Melton, Grantham, Stamford and Rutland area to enjoy the sport of Motor cross with the AMCA. If you wish to start in Motorcross, the new name for Motorcycle Scrambling, and want to race at popular circuits like Sproxton, Tilton, Woodford, Badby, Bevercotes etc, then Oakham Mx Club is one of the largest and most successful clubs in the East Midlands and has members from all over Rutland, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Annual Presentation & Christmas Bash
Saturday 19 November 2011 saw the Annual Oakham Motocross Club presentation awards and Christmas evening once again held at Greetham Valley Conference Centre. The event was attended by over 120 members, friends and family with a full 3 course Christmas meal and the obligatory DJ and dance floor.
Oakham Riders have had a great season in 2011, firstly because the Club has put on 3 fantastic meetings at 'Sproxton Moto Parc / Field of Dreams'.
Secondly because the riders have ridden their socks off in the East Trent Championship.

Special thanks were relayed to:
1) the Melton Mowbray St Johns First Aiders who once again bestowed the best of care and attention on all riders at the 3 Oakham events.
2) the Birch Family who allowed the club to use the fields for the events and for all of their help and support.
3) Terry King who stepped down in 2011 as the Chairman of the Club. Whilst Terry will still be involved in the Club as a Committee member, thanks were given from all to Terry for his time and energy over the years.
4) Ross Marshall who stepped down as Secretary at the end of the 2011 campaign. Although officially 'just' the Secretary, we all know that Ross has given much more to the Club over the years and all joined in showing their thanks to him. Ross will continue as a member of the Committee and we are hoping to see him grace us with his presence on the race track too.

The Club: This gives you a summary of information about the club and what we do.
Results: A summary on most of the races that the Oakham Club members ride in within the AMCA. This is updated weekly, usually on a Monday or Tuesday and often has a few pictures from the weekend. The Results page also features a link to the Archive section of Results.
Fixtures: This gives an idea of all the fixtures that are on the horizon, focussing particularly on the Oakham 'home' race meetings at the excellent Sproxton circuit.
Motocrosser Profile: This will be a regular feature on a member of the club and how they came to be involved in motocross with Oakham.
